Frequently Asked Questions
If I order a quantity of 5 of a particular Item, will I receive 5 separate 1 metre lengths?
No. You would receive a single piece 5 metres long. If this is not possible, as may be the case with very long lengths, you would be contacted before dispatch of your order.
Are the diameters quoted before or after shrinking?
All diameters quoted are the nominal internal diameter of the tubing before shrinking.
What does a shrink ratio of 2:1 mean?
The tubing will shrink to 50% of it’s original size. The 6.4mm will shrink to 3.2mm diameter.
Is the braided sleeving “elastic”?
No. Expansion of the braid is done by compressing the sleeving lengthways.

What payment methods do you accept?
Online payments are processed via PayPal, it is not necessary for you to have an account with PayPal though. You will be able to enter your card details during the checkout process and have the option to create a PayPal account if you so wish.
If you prefer to make payment by cheque or postal order then post exact details of the items required together with a cheque or postal order payable to B. Ellison to the address shown on the Contact Us page.
What is the Post and Packing charge?
The cost for delivery of heat shrink and braided sleeving within the UK is 99p per order regardless of the quantity ordered. If you require delivery outside of the UK then please contact us with your location and exact details of the items required and we will advise if we are able to ship to you and provide a quote for shipping.

Royal Mail 1st Class will be the default delivery service used. We may, at our discretion, use an alternative method more suitable to your order.
